Regional Chapters will act as a focal point for interaction, bringing together members from government, industry, and academia to strengthen professional relationships and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Promote Education and Training
The chapters are committed to sponsoring scientific and educational programs, offering workshops, webinars, and conferences to enhance members’ expertise in microphysiological systems.
Resource Hub
Each chapter serves as a resource for the iMPSS, supporting local initiatives and collaborating on broader society goals to advance the field.
Activities within Regional Chapters
- Networking and Collaboration:
Chapters will develop committees and interest groups to encourage discussion and collaboration on critical topics within the region, addressing teaching, training, and regulatory policies. - Conferences and Events:
Regional Chapters may conduct annual conferences and are encouraged to organize educational programs and collaborative webinars, aligning with the iMPSS’s objectives while fostering local engagement. - Council Governance:
Each chapter will be governed by a Council, responsible for managing its activities, financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with iMPSS bylaws. Councils will facilitate transparency and accountability in financial matters, including fundraising activities to support educational endeavors.
